Screened Patio Conversion with Dry Below System

Transforming an existing deck into a fully screened patio presented opportunities to leverage existing materials and make major improvements. The project successfully saved the original deck framing, decking, and railing while adding two new roof supports. Natural light was strategically borrowed from above using two large Velux skylights with solar operable shades, enhancing light transfer to the existing sliding door and kitchen window. Below the deck, a comfortable, dry space was created using the new roof structure and a vinyl soffit ceiling to conceal the deck framing. The structure utilizes the Screeneze system to ensure clean sight lines to the outdoor landscape.
