Modern Stone Fireplace Focus with Integrated Seating

The goal of this living room renovation was to create a modern focal point by removing the traditional mantle and all adjacent side built-ins. It was replaced with contemporary Stonecraft stone and a solid poplar mantle. To complete the modern look, built-in bench seating with hidden A/V storage was added to one side of the fireplace, allowing the new installation and the TV mounted above to serve as the true centerpiece of the room.
